INB CAS’s BYTE Program First Semester Commences
The first semester of the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) BYTE Program at
Inabanga College of Arts and Sciences (INB CAS) has officially begun! On August 28, 2025,
instructors and students gathered for the program's inaugural gathering, marking an exciting
start to the academic journey.
Led by CVISNET Executive Director Mr. Jeffrey Llanto, the pilot class training and development
focused on two key areas: Open Source Software and Linux, which explores the benefits,
drawbacks, licenses, and popular tools of open-source software, providing students with a
comprehensive understanding of this critical technology; and Basic Networking, which
covered fundamental concepts of data communication, network types, the Internet, TCP/IP,
and applications like e-commerce and m-commerce, equipping students with essential
knowledge for the digital age.
This initiative underscores INB CAS's commitment to delivering high-quality education and
fostering innovation in information systems. We wish the students and instructors all the best
as they embark on this academic journey!
