ISLET Connect

The Internet for Sustainable Livelihood, e-Education & Tourism (ISLET Connect) is a project of APNIC Foundation and CVISNET Foundation, Inc. which aims to address the digital disparity in remote island communities like Gilutongan, Caohagan, and Pangan-an Islands in Cebu by providing stable broadband internet solutions. The project sought to empower residents and promote socio-economic development, including establishing a solar-powered Locally Accessible Communication System (LACS) facility for instant communication and emergency response.
