CVISNET participated in the 2024 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week in Western Visayas at the University of Antique - Sibalom Campus from August 22 to 24, 2024. The event, hosted by the DOST Region VI,highlighted local technologies and innovations for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management.

Mr. Jeffrey Llanto, the Executive Director of CVISNET, presented the Locally Accessible Cloud System (LACS) and Barangay e-Systems and Tools (BeST) during the Smart and Sustainable Solutions for Communities Forum held on the event’s second day.

The three-day event also featured an exhibition of the latest technologies in the country, allowing participants, visitors, and students to experience them firsthand.
