The forum for "Technology Intervention for Rapid and Resilient Emergency and Disaster Response" was successfully held last March 17, 2023 at DOST7 Complex Sudlon Lahug Cebu City. It was organized by the Department of Science and Technology Region 7 in partnership with CVISNET and ATR Japan.

The event was participated by 50 delegates from the private, ngo, academe, lgu and government agencies that aims to introduce and give appreciation to the latest intervention in technology that promotes rapid, effective, and resilient response in the event of disaster and emergency.

Renowned insights by the speakers were given by Engr. Jesus Zamora Jr the Director of DOST7, Engr. Tristan Abando the Assistant Director of DOST7, Dr. Toshikazu Sakano the Director of ATR Japan, Dr. Sunil Jangir the Director of Wisflux India, Mr. Jeffrey Llanto the Executive Director of CVISNET and Mr. Sean Villagonzalo the IT Director of VSU.

Many of the participants have showed interest in the new technology for disaster. A need for another discussion will be set to be done to realize possible project cooperation.
