𝑀𝑒𝑑𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑛, 𝐶𝑒𝑏𝑢 (February 25, 2026) - Ongoing installation and deployment of infrastructure for the 𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 in the Municipality of Medellin, Cebu across the four (4) identified pilot barangays: Tindog, Curva, Canhabagat, and Caputatan Sur.

For Brgy. Curva, major activities include the installation of fiber optic cable connections linking the school to the barangay facility to ensure stable and reliable connectivity. Access Points were also installed and configured to expand wireless internet coverage within key community areas. In addition, an orientation session was conducted by CVISNET Foundation Inc. for teachers to familiarize them with the system, its intended use, and the opportunities it provides for supporting digital learning and online access to educational resources.

These efforts form part of the project’s continuing implementation together with the Department of Science and Technology VII (DOST-7), to strengthen community connectivity, enhance access to digital services, and support education and local development initiatives in the municipality.
