CVISNET Shares Strategy to Connect the Unconnected at CCCI National Convening
The National Convening on the Meaningful Community-Centered Connectivity Initiative (CCCI) in the
Philippines, hosted by the Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA), took place on December 3,
2025, in Quezon City
CVISNET Executive Director, Mr. Jeffrey N. Llanto, showcased how community-managed networks are
bridging the gap in underserved areas through local ownership with its flagship initiative, ISLET Connect
or Internet for Sustainable Livelihood, e-Education, and Tourism, implemented in various locations in
Cebu and Bohol.
CVISNET Foundation, Inc. is among the 16 organizations representing the Advisory Committee Member
for Local Networks (LocNet) 2025 Philippine Community-Centered Connectivity National Strategy,
through the Association for Progressive Communications (APC) and Rhizomatica, hosted by ISEA.
