The installation of Starlink was successfully done on November 12, 2023 at Caohagan Integrated School (CIS) as part of ISLET Connect, an APNIC Foundation-Funded project. This initiative aims to establish a dependable and sustainable internet connection in Gilutongan, Pangan-an, and Caohagan Islands. Representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd) Lapu-Lapu City, along with CIS's principal, teachers, and students, attended the event. The program highlighted the demonstration on how to maximize the usage of Starlink at the school. CIS Ukulele Ensemble also serenaded the guests and visitors from CVISNET, AFOS Foundation, Australian Government, DepEd and Seed4Com.
